Welcome to Our Mother-son Retreat!
Welcome to our Mother Son Retreat beginning Friday, March 27 through Sunday, March 29. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
Some FUN activities planned for our weekend: partner activities, free time, board
games, pavilion games, and s’mores. Rachele will be leading a devotional for the moms
on Saturday, with the boys having their own devotionals.
A Few Reminders:
-Check in begins at 6 pm Friday March 27th in the Dining Hall. DINNER IS NOT PROVIDED Friday evening.
-Welcome and activities will begin at 8 pm.
-Check the weather especially the day before/morning of the retreat as Georgia weather changes from one day to the next.
-Snack shack – We will have our Snack Shack open at various times, Friday and Saturday night, for drinks and snacks. Plan on bringing cash for the Snack Shack goodies.
-The boys will stay in the boys cabins with our boy counselors. The moms will stay in the girls cabins. Because you are staying in different parts of camp, pack mom’s bedding, toiletries and clothes separate from your son’s bedding, toiletries and clothes.
-A bible and/or your journal are optional. A water bottle is recommended and helps with also having water available back in the cabins.
-Phone Free Space: We encourage you to take a break from your phone to give your son your undivided attention. We will have a photographer available to take photos to capture your moments together.
Father Daughter Retreat Theme: PARTNER

Mother Son Retreat: Partner
We are learning the power of sticky faith for our children that comes through parents and a network of adult relationships beyond parents to encourage faith. As we prepare our hearts for our upcoming weekend together, we encourage you to focus on how to partner with God, with your local community, and with your son in strengthening his
faith. We will have special activities for you and your sons to work on your partnership.
We hope this weekend will help you and your son build great memories as you play, talk, and laugh together. Join us in praying for God’s Spirit to move through every aspect of this upcoming weekend. Be ready for an amazing time of partnership, community, and FUN!
