Welcome to Our Father-Daughter Retreat!
Camp Swamp’s Father-Daughter Retreat begins Friday March 6 through Sunday March 8.
Some FUN activities planned for our weekend: free time, board games, pavilion games, ballroom dancing, Just Dance, crafts, and s’mores. Ron Sawhill will be leading a devotional for the dads on Saturday.
A Few Reminders:
-Check in begins at 6 pm Friday March 6th in the Dining Hall. DINNER IS NOT PROVIDED Friday evening.
-Welcome and activities will begin at 8 pm.
-Check the weather especially the day before/morning of the retreat as Georgia weather changes from one day to the next.
-Snack shack – We will have our Snack Shack open at various times, Friday and Saturday night, for drinks and snacks. Plan on bringing cash for the Snack Shack goodies.
-The girls will stay in the girls cabins with our girl counselors. The dads will stay in the
boys cabins. Because you are staying in different parts of camp, pack dad’s bedding,
toiletries and clothes separate from your daughters bedding, toiletries and clothes.
We are dressing up for dinner, dancing and photos on Saturday night, so pack
something special for your date.
-A bible and/or your journal are optional. A water bottle is recommended and helps with also having water available back in the cabins.
-Phone Free Space: We encourage you to take a break from your phone to give your girl your undivided attention. We will have a photographer available to take photos to capture the sweet and silly moments of your time together
Father Daughter Retreat Theme: PARTNER

We are learning the power of sticky faith for our children that comes through parents and a network of adult relationships beyond parents to encourage faith. As we prepare our hearts for our upcoming weekend together, we encourage you to focus on how to partner with God, with your local community, and with your daughter in strengthening her faith. We will have special activities for you and your daughters to work on your partnership. We hope this weekend will help you and your daughter build sweet memories as you play, talk, and laugh together. Join us in praying for God’s Spirit to move through every aspect of this upcoming weekend. Be ready for an amazing time of
partnership, community, and FUN!
