lET’S TALK MAIL
At Camp Swamp, everything we do is guided by one goal: creating a space where every camper feels known, loved, and deeply connected. This summer, we’re excited to invite you into a small shift that we believe will make a big difference.
We’re refreshing how camper mail works—keeping it simple, meaningful, and truly focused on connection.
Instead of large care packages and bulk deliveries, we’re encouraging families to send one or two heartfelt notes or small, thoughtful items that remind your camper they’re loved. A few kind words can go a long way in helping a child feel supported and remembered while they’re away from home.
Here’s how you can participate: Drop off mail at check-in – You’ll be able to leave letters or small envelope-sized items (like a book or a simple trinket), and we’ll make sure they’re delivered throughout the week.
Focus on encouragement – Notes from parents, siblings, grandparents, or friends are welcome. A quick story, a favorite memory, or even a simple “we’re proud of you” can mean the world to your camper.
This change allows us to:
-Spend more time doing what makes camp special—playing, reflecting, laughing, and growing
-Help every camper feel included and valued, regardless of what mail they receive
-Create a calmer, more focused afternoon experience that strengthens the sense of community
At Camp Swamp, we believe less stuff makes more room for connection.
This approach lines up with one of our core values: Diversity. We celebrate every camper’s unique personality—not by the number of boxes they get, but by who they are. Whether they’re a domino expert, a hula hoop champion, or an avid book reader, we want each child to feel equally seen, heard, and loved.
If a package still arrives through the mail, don’t worry—it will still be delivered. But we hope you’ll join us in choosing simplicity, connection, and shared experience.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. We can’t wait to see them this summer and watch their confidence, faith, and friendships grow.
Love and gratitude.
