Swamp Camp Georgia hosted its first ever Swamp Camp Staff and Board Retreat in February 2022 to celebrate the “salvation” of camp (thank you to the over 650 Save-the-Swamp donors) and to dream and plan the next 30 years for the Swamp Camp Ministry. There were representatives from all over the southeast including the owning churches (ACOC Gwinnett, Cornerstone, Northview and North River Churches) and the Greater Wilmington Church in North Carolina.
 
Amid the COVID pandemic and the loss of revenue from camp closures during this unprecedented time, God has been moving and continues to show us his faithfulness through HIS usual yet amazing “only God could make this happen” ways - revealing Spirit-led dreams and steps to prepare Swamp Camp Ministries for its work to help kids and their families see and experience God in a safe and fun space today and for decades to come.
 
At the end of this historic retreat, this one-shot-one-take video was captured in the hopes of updating everyone about this coming period of growth for Swamp Camp and announcing some exciting changes coming! We hope this video shares the unity and excitement experienced over the weekend discussing the past 30 years of camp and planning for the next 30 years!
